1. Introduction

BlogPusher ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the merchants who use our application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you connect your Shopify store to our service.

2. Data We Collect

To provide our services, we collect the following via the Shopify API (OAuth) and our web interface:

  • Merchant Information: Name, email address, and Shopify store URL.
  • Shopify Content Data: Access to your Blog and Article sections to sync and publish content.
  • AI Input Data: Keywords, brand descriptions, and prompts you provide to generate articles.
  • Billing Data: We use the Shopify Billing API; we do not store your credit card details.
  • Usage Data: IP addresses and browser types for security and app performance monitoring.

Note on Customer Data: BlogPusher does not collect, store, or process any personal information of your store's customers (names, emails, or order history).

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To generate unique blog content using Google Cloud AI infrastructure.
  • To sync and publish articles directly to your Shopify blog.
  • To manage your subscription billing and provide customer support.

4. Data Sharing & Sub-processors

We share your data with the following third-party services to provide the App's functionality:

  • Google Cloud / Firebase: For secure data hosting and AI text generation.
  • Shopify: To facilitate billing and app-to-admin communication. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Active Accounts: We retain your account data while your subscription is active.
  • Uninstalls: When you uninstall the App, we receive a mandatory shop/redact webhook from Shopify. In accordance with Shopify’s requirements, we will permanently purge all store-related data from our systems within 48 hours of receiving this notice.

6. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may exercise these rights at any time by contacting us at support@blogpusher.com.
